ぺんぺん2024-03-30自転車の乗り方や釣具の使い方など丁寧に教えていただきました。アドバイスのおかげか2人で行って合わせて10匹も魚が釣れました！帰り際におすすめのビール屋さんに案内していただき最高のビールが飲めました！奥多摩に行ったらまた行きます！！Mels Smit2024-03-29Just finished a wonderful day cycling through the Okutama mountains! We first went towards the Nippara Limestone caves and afterwards went to Lake Okutama before returning. You need to bring back the bikes before 17:00 which made our trip a bit of a time crunch as we came all the way from Tokyo so we could only start at about 12:30 but everything was amazing and comfortable. We arrived just before lunch time so when we arrived the natively english speaking owner asked us if we would like lunch first before taking our bikes at our scheduled time. After getting recommendations from him and having a lovely meal we returned to get the Ebikes. They were European size so I finally had a bike that could go high enough for me and we got a bit special treatment as we could borrow helmets (also european sized) that could connect to each other so me and my fiancee could converse normally while cycling which was a lovely. They also provided a booklet with the cycle routes in the area along with up to date pictures of the important junctions in the area showing where to go and how to avoid common mistakes on the road. Using this booklet we went over our intended route and got some additional pointers like recent roadwork and the like and he helped us with the whole plan so it would be feasible. They also accomodated us in changing our reservation. You can reserve your bikes in advance which we did but the weather was obviously not known a month in advance so it had just finished raining. This meant that there were puddles and mud on the roads. Without a second thought the owner advised my fiancee to get a different cheaper model instead with mudguards instead while explaining the benefits and disadvantages. So she got the cheaper model to keep her more clean while I still opted for the chosen model before as the breaks were better and I wanted to be safely able to race down some roads. Finally they also offered a battery change should we need them on the road back (our road would make us come back to Okutama at the half way point), so we would have a fresh battery for the rest of the ride. We didn't need it in the end but should we have been there earlier we absolutely would have taken it as the additional power of the Ebikes made the ride through the mountains a kind of relaxed experience allowing us to really take in the incredible scenery. All in all our experience has been lovely and I would highly recommend them to anyone be it for a trip with your own group or going on one of their tours!Baptiste Bassot2024-03-18great service, close to the station. the old road to okutama lake was a super nice ride and the owner's explanations and map made it easy to navigate. Highly recommended for a day out of Tokyo.
